The d20 exlosion has been very, very good to me. I've had plenty of work since d20 hit the shelves. Much of it due directly to d20 publishers... AEG, Thunderhead Games, Eden Studios, recently Green Ronin, Guardians of Order. If I'm forgetting someone, I apologize, the last year has been a bit of a blur for me.

But it is an extremely exciting time to be an artist in this field. The opportunity to work for lots of really good companies, on really interesting projects as been invigorating to this ink slinger.

I think it will also give the next generation of illustrators a whole lot of opportunities to cut their teeth. When I first started in this industry, I worked for one company for several years (ICE) before ever getting a shot at someone elses projects. Now this could be due to the fact I was really green. But I think it is also due to the fact that there just simply wasn't as many outlets. Now, there really is a plethora of projects out there that needs art.

So, again, thanks. Hopefully, my art will contine to find favor. And hopefully, many new talents will emerge.

I'd like to echo Storn's thanks without stealing too much of his spotlight. Speaking as a writer, the d20 explosion has given me the chance to write for the hobby I love so much. It's nothing I even seriously considered before Aug 2000. So far all of the publishers have been great (with a few little quirky Mongoose encounters). It gives me no end of joy to bring my own takes on the grand-daddy of roleplaying games to the public. Whether they want it or not. :)

To the d20 publishers I say keep cooperating. Keep expanding. And never look back.

It is super friggin cool, isnt it. As a life long gamer goober it gives me no end of joy to be working in this biz, working with people like Ryan Dancey and Gary Gygax and Bob Bledsaw. It is like a gamer dream come true. Long live d20!

Speaking of work Storn when will I see the art for the thing(wink, nudge).
I have yet to meet someone in the business that I have not enjoyed speaking or working with, I can't praise all of you enough---group hug!

I'd just like to echo what everyone has said before, writing for the game I love has been a long time in coming, been playing for nigh on 20 years then I got the chance last year to write for it and more to come..
Everyone I've chatted to has been great and its lovely little community to be involved in, well I say everyone, that Hal is a strange sort.... the EYE made me say it Hal, I was looking for Homer and the EYE made me say it... hehehe only kidding, luv ya really, but not enough to Spoon ya.. ;)

So far we have had artists, writers and publishers.

I would like to add my thanks from the players/DM's.

As someone who started playing back in the days of Judges Guild, Mayfair and Arduin I am very thankful for the D20 effort put forth by the above mentioned artists/writers/publishers, not to mention Wotc for allowing, and encouraging, the whole thing.

Not since the very early 80's has there been such a wealth of options for Players and DM's of D&D. This is truly a great time to be playing D&D.
