If he wanted to make an "amateur" D&D movie, it should have gone straight to DVD. If I'm going to the theater, I expect something of theater-level quality, not something that makes me actually sink into my seat at how embarrasing the movie is.All my opinion, of course. But even if you count Lord of the Rings as only one long movie, rather than three, D&D doesn't even make my list of best 5 fantasy movies. When you consider how recently it was made, how few decent fantasy movies are out there, and how much material they had to work with, that's saying something.</blockquote>
