That's not what Fast Healing means. Bad mechanics. Like the Frenzied Berserker, this is NOT someone I'd want in a party with me. "Oh, there's a chance you'll fail your Will check and attack me? Uh... how about I take first watch. Sweet dreams." The main problem with the Barbarian is death after Rage. • Much too strong for 1st level. You'll need a hefty LA if this is intended to be usable. • The Int and Cha penalties are either trivial or crippling, depending on the availability of effects to inflict Int and Cha damage. • Search +5? - - - Here's what I'd do: [s]Garrou[/s] Kanta -- Medium Humanoid (shapechanger) Speed: 30 ft. Senses: Low-light vision Favored Class: Ranger or Barbarian (whichever the character has more levels in) Human Form (Ex): In her default form, a kanta gains a +10 bonus to her Disguise checks to appear human (but not to impersonate a specific human). Alternate Forms (Ex): A kanta may change shape as a Standard action. By default, a kanta has access to two other forms:

Wildling - The character takes on subtle aspects of her bestial nature. Her senses improve, such that she may make Survival checks to follow a trail as though she had the Track feat. If she already has the Track feat, she instead gains Scent. Additionally, she gains two Claw attacks which deal 1d4+Str damage (if Medium), and she gains DR 1/silver. Wildling form is still mostly human, and can easily be mistaken for such if the character does not use her claws. She has neither bonus nor penalty to her Disguise checks to appear human.
Predator - The character takes on the form of a beast. She takes the form of a specific Medium animal (chosen at character creation). Her equipment merges into her new form and becomes inoperative. She gains a Bite primary natural attack dealing 1d6 + 1.5x Str (if Medium), her Natural Armor improves by +4, and she gains DR 2/silver. She additionally gains one of the following movement benefits (as befits her new form): +10 ft. bonus to base movement rate; climb at 1/2 base movement and a +8 bonus on Climb checks; swim at base movement and a +8 bonus on Swim checks; or glide, which functions as feather fall, except that the character may take a move action when falling to move up to 10 ft. horizontally each round.
- - - Barbarian Racial Sub Levels 1/ Illiteracy, [s]Krynos Form[/s] Onna Rage 1/day 3/ Wild Instinct +1 7/ Improved DR/silver Onna Rage (Ex): You instantly shift into a hybrid form, half way between human and beast. This class feature functions like Rage, except as follows: you gain a Bite natural attack which deals 1d8+Str damage, and you gain improved natural armor and DR equal to what your Predator form would grant. Your hybrid form is clearly inhuman. This class feature replaces Fast Movement and Rage. Feats, class abilities and effects which apply to Rage also apply to Onna Rage (e.g. Mighty Rage, Extra Rage, calm emotions). Wild Instinct (Ex): You gain the indicated bonus to Initiative checks. This class feature replaces Trap Sense. Every time you would gain an improvement to Trap Sense, you instead gain an improvement to Wild Instinct. Improved DR (Ex): When you are in Wildling form, your DR/silver improves by +1. When you are in [s]Krynos[/s] Onna form, your DR/silver improves by +2. This class feature replaces DR/--. When your DR/-- would normally increase by 1, instead your Wildling DR/silver bonus increases by +1, and your Predator DR/silver improves by +2, up to a maximum of +5 (Wildling) or +10 (Predator) at 19th level. - - - Fast Transformation [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race Benefit: You may change form as a Move action. Normal: Changing form requires a Standard action. Improved DR [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race Benefit: When in Wildling form, your DR/silver improves by +1. When in Predator form, your DR/silver improves by +2. Improved Glide [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race, ability to Glide Benefit: You may slow your fall to travel horizontally. Trade 10 ft. of vertical descent for 5 ft. of horizontal movement. You must still descend a minimum of 10 ft. each turn. This horizontal movement stacks with the 10 ft. you can normally choose to move. Improved Natural Armor [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race Benefit: When in Wildling form, your Natural Armor bonus increases by +4. When in Predator form, your natural armor bonus increases by +6. Normal: When in Wildling or Predator form, your Natural Armor bonus increases by +2 or +4 (respectively). Improved Natural Attacks [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race Benefit: Both your claw and bite natural attacks deal damage as though you were one size larger. Special: This feat does not stack with Improved Natural Attack. Predator Speed [Racial] Prerequisite: Kanta race, Predator form with increased speed Benefit: Your Predator form grants you +20 ft. improved speed rather than +10 ft. - - - ... and so on. Don't give all the goodies at 1st level. Cheers, -- N
