Imagine Max Max mixed with Dragon Slayer, Book of Eli mixed with Legend, Lord of the Rings and...well you get the picture. These are not just rammed together themes. Everything has been thought out and tested. We identified what made sense, what didn't, what was exciting, and what wasn't. We will open that  game up, before we publish, to those who pledge. Pledges will be able to  modify, add to, and vote on almost all aspects of the game and see that  input in a published product. NPC's, art, monsters, races, roles,  weapons, and various other game aspects can be voted on or submitted at  different pledge levels. We will back those pledges and contributions with  professional art, editing, printing, art books, shirts, developer  diaries, 1 on 1 contact with the developers, and various other rewards.  Most importantly every pledge level includes at least a PDF of the book.Why We Did It:It is a full book already but it was always our dream to publish as well as get our own input into a game-book. We thought others would like that kind of thing as well so we put it on KickStarter. KickStarter helps us get professional editing, make the cards, pay the artists, rewrite additions by pledges, and so forth. What Makes Us Unique:Contribution that comes in many forms. Pledges can vote on things, change the world, decide on the actual art of the book, and a ton of other aspects of contribution. That does not even include the pledge rewards that allow for direct content contribution like NPC creation, location, weapon, race, and role creation as well. All of that with professional illustrations for everything pledges add to the game.Content is already created. We have a ton of content already. We aren't having pledges create for us, we are having them create with us. In the video we show all the reams of created content and the Kickstarter shows just a very small bit of the already created art. It is a joint effort. If every pledge just pledged $1.00 to get the PDF we would still have well over 350 pages of world information, rules, and total content.Card rules with an bit of an edge. When it comes to using cards, we haven't just replaced dice. We have identified some things that make cards unique. Cards are highly visible, cards can be shown in various ways to others in the game like hidden, vertical, horizontal, and in pairs. Cards are also nice for various specific rules systems that we added to AfterEarth to keep the game clean, fast, and mysterious.Here are some samples of the art that pledges can expect for their submissions for NPC's, roles, monsters, and character portraits.
