The word count topped out at about 30% longer than Village of Darkharrow and A Treasure on the Rocks. This should translate into a 20% increase in page count. This happened pretty much by accident. I didn’t intend to write Oyster Cove longer than it’s predecessors; it just turned out that way. I just wrote out all of the ideas that I had for the module and the word count kept going up. I don’t know if there’s something unique to Oyster Cove that made it run long, or if I’m settling into some sort of expansive groove with Places by the Way and 12,000+ words is the new normal for the series. Regardless, this will not affect how Ramen Sandwich Press prices Places by the Way, either on Kickstarter or in the wild.
