Same with Frankenstein's monster or the wolf man. I am not saying all horror movies feature cosmic good and evil. But it is definitely something you see. And you often see creatures that are so evil, the heroes have no compunction in destroying them. I am not saying there is a 1-1 relationship. But there is this idea that the monster in the movie embodies evil and must be destroyed. And that seems to be a core concern in the debate about evil orcs: can something physically embody the cosmic force of evil in the setting. In most horror movies this is more metaphorical but it still plays out the same.</p></blockquote><p></p>
