Oh and, like Mojo said, the dog is great. He's learned that he can climb on the furniture now, so of course, all chairs, tables, beds etc. are "his". But he is teh cutest dog in the universe so he gets away with it.
Although that dog of Monte Cook's is pretty darn adorable too.

Having three cats, myself, and not being that much of a dog person, I can't relate a dog/puppy experience. However, our newest cat is snow white with one grey eye and one blue eye, so I named her Dixie. (I'm a bit creative and sappy that way.) She has to be the most fearless thing I've ever seen. When we first got her and our first cat(an orange tabby whom we just call 'Kitty') hissed at her, she hissed back and hit him square on the nose. He's been submissive ever since. 
It's neat how each of my cats has such a distinctive personality
Kitty is a mellowed-out hippie who sleeps all day.
Cindy(a year-old black female) is a total coward who runs from anything, even Dixie.
Dixie is a rambunxious little dunderhead kitten who runs into walls and gallops like a horse.
VERRRY different indeed.
