King Osdann (regarding that Slaine RPG and the Invulnerable-King module.)

It's probably best I don't share who I used as visual inspiration for King Osdann. It may upset some people. But I will give a hint. Osdann is corrupt and this guy is not popular, but there are always supporters...

Nope. No idea at all. Fake mythology.

Unrelated: I’m usually terribly put off by Celtic mythology at the very get-go by the names, like Crom-Cruache, Carnun, or Cu Cuthulain (not a correct recollection of that recently-mentioned hero’s name) because I find it extremely difficult to distinguish or recall their names even before I start trying to remember which entirely different names are possibly variants of the same legend. Or which contradictory legends concern the probably-same god/hero. Which is a shame for me.

This campaign sounds interesting! I can almost remember the name King Osdann. The illustration will probably help. (The AD&D Deities and Demogods Celtic Mythos illustrations did not help me, at all.)

Thank you for sharing!

Tis a shame

Tis a shame, as the author of Slaine. Pat Mills would often lament that Celtic mythology hasn't got nearly enough coverage as the other mythologies...
