It just gets stranger. (I like Yurians) Edit: Forgot to adjust hit dice Deep Claws (Giant Octopus + Tauric + Yurian) Large Monstrous Humanoid (Aquatic) Hit Dice: 11d8+11 (60) Initiative: +2 (Dex) Speed: 20 Ft, Swim 30 ft. AC: 18 (-1 Size, +2 Dex, +7 Natural) Full Attack: 8 tentacle rakes +16 melee, 2 claws +11 melee Damage: Tentacle rakes 1d4+5, Claw 1d6+2 Face/Reach: 5 Ft. By 5ft/10ft Special Attacks: Improved Grab, Constrict Special Qualities: Darkvision 60?, Ink Cloud, Jet, limited regeneration Saves: Fort: +7 Ref: +8 Will: +2 Abilities: Str:20, Dex:15, Con:13, Int:9, Wis:11, Cha:8 Skills: Escape Artist +14, Hide +7, Listen +3, Spot +3 Feats: Multigrab, Greater Multigrab@, Rending Constriction@ Climate/Terrain: Temperate and warm aquatic Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: 9 Treasure: No coins; standard goods, 50% items Alignment: Usually Neutral Advancement: By class @ = Savage Species From a distance these strange enigmatic beings look like a giant octopus with a crab like shell over it?s head. On closer inspection this is a humanoid crab seemingly fused ontop of the giant octopus. These strange creatures have yet to enter the war between the T?chetclil but may be waiting for just the right time. Combat Deep Claws attack with their tentacles and claws full out usually, constricting what, by its limited intelligence, it deems to be the most threatening. Constrict (Ex): A deep claw deals 2d8+3 points of damage with a successful grapple check against Medium or smaller creatures. Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the deep claw must hit an opponent of Medium or smaller size with its tentacle rake attack. If it gets a hold it can constrict. Ink Cloud (Ex): A deep claw can emit a cloud of jet-black ink 10 feet high by 10 feet wide by 10 feet long once a minute as a free action. The cloud provides total concealment, which the deep claw normally uses to escape a losing fight. Creatures within the cloud suffer the effects of total darkness. Jet (Ex): A deep claw can jet backwards once per round as a double move action, at a speed of 200 feet. Limited Regeneration (Ex): Deep claws can regrow lost body parts as part of their natural healing ability. If a deep claw loses a limb or eyestalk, the lost part regrows as soon as the damage is healed by any means. Skills: A deep claw can change colors, giving it a +4 racial bonus to Hide checks. A deep claw also can squeeze and contort its body, giving it a +10 racial bonus to Escape Artist checks.
