We have humans, dwarves, Elves, goblins, dragons and magic. Goblins in this world can be heroes, one of the main cast is one. Could be ineteresting. It sound like a D&D adventure from the plot, starts in a mining town (wow what a shock!) head wizard finds a party to save said town and possible world from an evil wizard.

I liked the two main characters - the elf woman and the big guy with accent (John something?) They made the elves have fangs, though? Or what looked like fangs...

And, Christopher Lloyd is usually good to watch.

Not sure what to think of the main bad guy - looks a bit weird with all the necklaces/chains around his head.

I only got to see the beginning of the first part ... it's 10 times better than the DnD movies imo ... (haven't seen the whole thing yet)

I'm DVRing part two tonight and will likely watch them both tomorrow in one stretch, skipping the commercials, of course.

I've only made it about 15 minutes in, but I'm shocked that it isn't half bad. Reasonable acting, no major scene chewing...so far better than most of the SciFi movies and better than either D&D movie.

And elves with fangs? That gets a big "yes" from me.
