Here's my little pre-release blurb for the magazine. First, KA7 is a double-issue and it's D&D themed. The magazine should hit the virtual shelves at the end of the week (around the 20th, I'd guess). I have a pretty good sense of what's in it and here's what I'm 99% certain of:
1) A full adventure, creepily appropriate for Halloween; including (I hope, my fingers are crossed) full scale maps that will be available from the website.
2) An unexpected new monster for those who love giants and hate drow.
3) A couple of articles on some other games (Magic and a bit of a farewell article on Hecatomb).
4) An article on how to host a minis game (nothing that we here don't already know). If the art doesn't change between now and release, you have to see the picutre in this article.
5) An Axis & Allies Miniatures article on building an Italian army.
6) A gruesome piece of fiction with a special surprise for minis lovers. (Don't go crazy, it's not a Bloodwar preview or anything uber-cool like that.)
7) A very good piece on D&D solo campaigns (one player and one DM).
8) A rather long interview with Ari Marmell (Mouseferatu).
The link in my sig will get you there.
