Rockhorn wheels above the beast and changes tack yet again. He drops the clumsy weapon made for humans and points his mounted lance toward the beast. "Hiya, Spritewing," Rockhorn calls out, his voice a battle cry in the midst of chaos, "let's bring down this tortured titan!" In response to his command, Spritewing lets out a resounding neigh, a warcry of its own, as it tucks its wings in and descends with Rockhorn towards the imposing behemoth. Together, dwarf and pegasus plummet almost straight down, the wind howling in their ears as they weave with uncanny precision between the thrashing heads of the great beast. As they hurtle toward the earth, the tension mounts, and the world seems to slow. In a breathtaking display of agility and instincts, Spritewing abruptly alters their trajectory heading for the nexus of the heads. With a graceful twist and a beat of powerful wings, the pair manages to evade the impending impact just moments before it would have been catastrophic. Rockhorn, with unwavering resolve, angles his mounted lance aiming for a vulnerable spot. As they soar past the colossal creature's thrashing heads, Rockhorn's lance strikes true, piercing through scales and flesh. A triumphant roar escapes from rangers lips as the lance finds its mark, sinking deep into the creature's heart. With a deafening, guttural cry of agony, the colossal beast shudders violently. Its enormous form convulses in a final, futile attempt at resistance. Releasing the lance so he wouldn't be unseated by colossal impact, the dwarf bellows again as the pair pulls away from the creature's death throes. In the moments that follow, an eerie calm descends upon the battlefield. The creature's heads writhe and contort in a macabre dance of death, their once-menacing roars now reduced to feeble, pained groans. The colossal titan begins its inexorable descent, a colossal death in the heart of the city. With thunderous crash and one last burst of flame and smoke, the crumbling form collapses on the streets of Bluffside. Rockhorn and Spritewing pull away from the creature's crumbling form, victorious. Their daring attack, fueled by unwavering determination, has felled the once-mighty beast.
Swift: activate giantfelling gauntlets for +3d6 damage (1 charge remaining) Power attack spirited dive; damage: 1d20+15+1+1-4 = [6]+15+1+1-4 = 19; 3d6+24+3d6+24 = [2,5,2]+24+[5,2,3]+24 = 67 I hate power attack :( and low rolls... Move ends at 50', 12 squares down from the starting position
