Okay, my SCAP Campaign has gone in a slightly different direction then I had originally intended, but isn't that always the way it goes. The players wanted to explore the continent a little more so they've left Cauldron City and have traveled to various locales beyond the scope of the SCAP. They traveled to the Town of Kul Moren, which is Toryn Stonecutter's home. (He's a expert/fighter.) Then they visited the City of Mor's End, known on these messageboards as the EN World City Project. There they met the propriators of the Downpour Alehouse, created by me, and ran into the captain of the city's guard, Thomas Haljan. Now they've left Mor's End and are planning to brave the perils of Fortress Mountain, in search of an old frost giant's fortress. The giant's name is Gungir, and he is said to still to be alive after hundreds of years. (At least, that's the legend.) The PCs are currently doing research in the City of Pretensa, in the Kingdom of izmer. The group's cleric/radiant servant of Jalivier, Argo Flamehart, has uncovered a problem with evil cultists of the Dark Reborn, under the city, and PCs are investigating before they tackle Fortress Mountain. The other main PC, at this point, is the wizard known as Hezekiah. He is likely from an Alternate Material Plane, and was transported to the Lands of Harqual through a botched teleport spell. He was part of a traveling circus before the magical accident sent him flying through space and time (not his spell), and he wonders where the others of his troope might have ended up. The group is also getting back a former adventuring companion; Meryn Moonshadow is a silver elf bard from the Kingdom of the Silver Leaves, and he has been searching for the PCs in order to rejoin them. Once the PCs find and fight the frost giant, or whatever is currently in control of the giant's lair, then the PCs are likely to head back to Cauldron City. Once there they will have to deal with the fallout of their disappearance from the city, incluidng dealing with the Stormblades (see upcoming posts), and several other difficulties. The PCs have also been planning on traveling west towards the City of Eversink and then to Avion City, on Harqual's western coast. They also have made comment on the idea of traveling east into the region known as the Eastern Shores. Thus, the SCAP has been going on without the PCs. The Stormblades have completed the third adventure in that series ("Zenith Trajectory"), as I like timelines to continue forward, regardless of what the PCs decide to do. Lord know there is more than enough adventuring for them to handle, but they likely won't like the idea of the Stormblades stealing their thunder. The Stormblades will continue to handle the SCAP, if the PCs head off in other directions. ;) Cheers! KF72
