The kuyrok is a creature to be feared. It takes on the form of its victim's worst fear.
Standing at an average height of 6 feet, the kuyrok wears a black top hat and straight black hair down to its shoulders. It wears a black overcoat down to its ankles and has its face painted black and white. It uses a cane to walk with but it is not required to help it walk.
The kuyrok stays in a dimension all its own until it decides to prey on the weak. It speaks common and goblinoid.
COMBAT
The kuyrok takes on the persona and image of its opponent's darkest fear. It attacks with its cane if need be but can also use its bare hands to attack.
Its favorite tactic is to remain in a mirror looking into the eyes of its intended victim and use its psionics to inhibit them. It then probes their mind to find their fear and transforms into it and steps out from the mirror in the new form.
Psionics (Sp): At will - Attraction, brain lock, daze, disable and detect thoughts. 3/day - Mind probe.
Attack/Defense Modes (Sp): Id insinuation, mind thrust, psychic crush/Empty mind, thought shield, mental barrier.
Dimensional Shift (Su): The kuyrok can use mirrors as a portal between the real world and its dimension. It can walk freely through the mirrors as any person can walk through a doorway. If a mirror is destroyed, the kuyrok cannot use that mirror and must find another mirror to use to return to its dimension.
Instill Insanity (Su): When the kuyrok uses its psionic powers to probe the mind of its victim, it can infuse insanity into that victim. The victim must make a Will save (DC 19) or become incoherent and wild. The victim cannot use spells and will attack the closest creature/person to it. Only a Heal from a cleric can restore sanity.
Alter Self (Su): The kuyrok can assume the shape of any Small or Medium-size humanoid. This works like alter self as cast by an 18th level sorcerer, but the kuyrok can remain in the chosen form indefinately. It can assume a new form or return to its own as a standard action.
Immunities (Ex): The kuyrok is immune to sleep and charm effects.
