Summers are markedly warmer and humid, and even the most northern lands expect tropical storms between harsh winters. Vegetation is rife and plant-life abundant. In fact, they prosper and enjoy a renaissance of culture after thousands of years eking out a primitive existence, whilst forever prey to the great insects. There are now four distinct forms of human being; the physically-altered neotype, the metamorph - able to warp its’ own body at a cellular level, the psychically powerful telempath and the insectile - a person who shares both human and insect DNA.
