Aazwen Shadewood - L1 Perfectly Normal Ranger (OOC: Dragging Kermis along to expedite things, since we're together and not doing anything important.) After slaughtering some time introducing Kermis to the wonders of plum pudding--the wonder being how much of it the good-natured barbarian could eat--the pair flexed a few times to remind the Red Dragon patrons how masculine they were, and exited the door into the cool air of the open street on their way to the docks. The Helen of Bom wanted to be found, as a pair of mostly lost barbarians should've had a harder time of finding it, but there it was, bobbing majestically against its moorings, waiting. "THERE BOAT! MELEN ON BUM! I bet others already inside," says Aazwen gesticulating far too much for the simple indication of an object's presence. He hooks an arm and waves it at Kermis in an obvious gesture for him to follow aboard. Aazwen was a little uncertain, but he was duly avoiding it being noticed. It wouldn't do for a barbarian to be seen shying away from something as routine as a boat trip. At the gangway, the elf tentatively steps upon the obvious solid wood, daintily testing its reliability with a big-toe sticking through one boot-tip. He puckers his lip at the results, apparently suspecting a trap. Hunkering down to one knee he eyes the thing carefully, sizing up its center bow to gauge the odds of it snapping as he reached that point. Standing again, he adjusts his gear, and smiles a moment before squinting one eye, grabbing the gecko from his head and placing it on his shoulder, and stalking confidently up the plank. A salty song full of bawdy references and seafaring jargon issue from one side of his mouth as he goes, accentuated by a few well-placed "Arrr's". There was even a "shiver me timbers" in there somewhere. That he waltzed right past the sailor and the other elves is rather lost in the shuffle. The sailor must have correctly assumed Aazwen was with the others and wisely avoided contact.
