Catching one foot over the rail, he ended up swinging around once below it like a sloth in a tree. Relaxing completely, he dropped to the edge and rolled back onto the deck, somewhat like a sack of potatoes, and rather a lot like the aforementioned sloth.</p><p></p><p>Eventually, he drew himself up, grabbed the pack and handful of items he'd left at the rail and danced a jig toward the gangway. Once there, he slid over a nice, sturdy-looking crate and hopped inside, complete with pack in his lap and propelled himself like a legless beggar on a wheeled board the rest of the way to the plank's end and then, with a heave that almost lifted him out of the crate, he managed to get it up and over the lip. One more heave and he was sliding down the wooden plank screaming like a little girl, one pack strap held over his eyes and he sped down to the bottom, crashing into a pile of straw matting as he reached the dock. The momentum rolled both himself, his pack and his gecko onto their respective faces.</p><p></p><p>A moment later he was up as if nothing had happened, his pack secured to his back and his gecko upon his head, licking the salty air from time to time. With an inordinately quick walk, as opposed to a more efficient jog, he managed to catch up to and fall in beside his currently adopted family as they brought themselves to the home of their new employee.</p><p></p><p>Aazwen watched as Valan did what was needed to alert those inside that the demons had arrived.</p><p></p><p>OOC[sblock]'Scuse the absence.
