Hello everyone; On the behalf of the Night Court GM staff, I want to announce their next game, the sequel for Night Court: Voiceless Winter saw many changes, but none so drastic as the revelation of Kitsuki Hana as the half-sister of the Emperor, her subsequent appointment as Voice of the Emperor and untimely death at the hands of unknown assassins. The death of a Hantei could not go unpunished, or the entire Celestial Order would come crumbling down. The Unicorn took the blame and with the help of their Scorpion and Crab allies, are defending against the Crane, Phoenix and Dragon army that will not stop until the Unicorn pay for their crime and Honour is satisfied. Six ambitious taisa and their officers march towards Unicorn lands, where a Spring war will be fought. A strange sickness has taken hold of the Emperor, and every waking hour is spent speaking of prophecies instead of the governance of the Emerald Empire. Instead of puppets tangled in the Emperor's many plots and plans, every Clan Champion soon realizes that they have been again given free rein. As war rages on, diplomats of each clan are sent to a strange choice of court: Toshi Ranbo. The Lion offered to play the neutral part in a war, that they, for once, are not involved in. Clan Champions move their courtiers and peons to the first court with weakened Imperial influence, everyone wishing to carve a piece from the void left in power. All while there is still a religious schism to solve, an Imperial Heir to pick and the interests of the warring soldiers to be defended at Court. Right in the middle of politics and war, a group of three Emerald Magistrates have to handle the most difficult of the tasks: war crimes investigation. Travelling between Toshi Ranbo and the Unicorn provinces, they must assure that Imperial Law and the Code of War is obeyed. Honour demands satisfaction, and nobody is above the Will of the Heavens. The game will start either at April (Optimistic prevision), May (More realistic one) but no later than June. More information can be obtained at the Night Court forums. Setting Information Knowledge of Night Court is not required for the game; here is all the changes that game induced in the setting. Every single phrase written there was an accomplishment, consequence and/or plot of a player. For Voiceless, you can be the one shaping the future. The first official preview is up: the city of Toshi Ranbo, where diplomats will argue the future of the war and its consequences.
