It would be like using a team of fully armed and equipped Navy Seals to deal with a school yard bully.At any level, the whole ring selection thing is kinda strange and seems arbitrary.Too many of the superhero movies involve the new hero going up against his/her opposite with the same power set. Spider-Man is one of the few that has consistently avoided that, but it's an easy cliche', and easy cliche's are what Hollywood writing is all about. Most of them are also a-holes who are given immense power (usually without really earning it) and somehow becoming good people as a result.So, maybe is someone like Vandal Savage or Dameon the WitchBoy is behind the troubles in the town, that might be interesting (and also set up massive expansion for the show universe). If it's just corrupt locals or Sinestro, meh</blockquote>
