A 1st level fighter could easily afford to give up 1 of his 2 feats to be large, and the 10' reach is really nice. In retropsect how I wanted this to be was such:Fighter w/ Large Feat: Is considered non-proficient with Huge Weapons, but may wield them. In other words, they are physically large enough to wield them, but since they are by the nature of the feat, an abnormality (ie- its not something associated with your race, you are inherently unusual), they still had to grow up in "medium-size" society. So, everything you know says the greatsword gets swung in 2 hands, because whoever taught you anything about the weapon told you thats how it was.The Large Weapon Proficiency represents you beginning to learn that you can use your greater size in ways normal people can't, with proficiency. I would allow someone with the Large feat but without the large proficiency feat wield a greatsword in 1 hand, but they would take a -4 penalty until they got said feat.Technik</blockquote>
