Last Ditch/Call - Hurricane Victims Charity PDF

Cathix

First Post
Greetings and salutations.

We have received an enormous amount of kick-ass contributions for our charity pdf, 'Suck Da Head, Squeeze Da Tail - Cajun Arcana'. We've also received beautiful artwork. Unfortunately, as the book's text has grown, so has the artwork per page ratio grown a bit thin.

And I don't want to dip too deeply into clipart.com for this. Who does, really?

I don't expect people to stop what they're doing and draw up something new, in the last hour before production. But if you have anything (that you own the rights to) and it falls into this category:

sexy women
undead
ships
graveyards
reptilian folk
alleys
city streets
space (as in outer)
archtypal fantasy classes/male
A CATFISH
alligators

and you would like to help the victims of BOTH Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita, send us your stuff! All profits will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. If you'd like to donate something that's already been published, please check with the publisher to make sure it's okay by them.

And finally, to all the contributors - THANK YOU! This book is hilarious, useful, dark, uplifting, and strange. Just like New Orleans, the city that inspired it.

Cathix, please take a look at Image Portfolio 1.06.

It has a couple of useful fantasy cityscapes, including some huts-on-stilts-in-a-swamp that has been digitally colored. (One of just a couple of colorized pieces.)

Let me know if you want me to purchase a link for you and send it along. You could also try emailing Louis Porter Jr. and asking him for a complimentary download.

That is a very nice image. I can't really see a need for it in the charity pdf, however. The only real 'need' we have at this point is compelling portraiture for some of the many npc's populating the book. I have a wealth of urban and landscape scenery from good ol' clipart.com (which is really a wonderful resource despite my bitching about it). And I have some pictures of catfish and gators, too.

At present I've got two tons of administrative and my own (LATE) freelance work to fiddle with, so if Louis would care to contribute an image or two I imagine he get in touch with us. Even after the layout's done, until the night before we upload the puppy to RPGNow I'll still accept more art. :D

Thanks for looking out for us, regardless, Wulf!
