Vale Kevin Smith, recently deceased director of _Clerks_, _Mallrats_, _Chasing Amy_, _Dogma_ and _Joe and Silent Bob Strike Back_. A true man of many talents, Kevin not only managed to direct and star in some of the most penetrating and socially observant comedies of manners since _Porky's_, he also managed to find the time to play Ares (among others) on _Hercules_ and _Xena: Warrior Princess_. The world lost a great thesbian when he fell to his death in China while making _Warriors of Virtue_.

RIP Kev, we'll miss ya, d00d.

Are you sure the Kevin Smith who died is the View Askew Kevin Smith? It looks like they're two different people to me: one who played Ares (Kevin Tod Smith), and one who made movies (and is decidedly less god-like physically).
