As somebody else posted-it works the same as the rest of the Enhancement spells(Bulls Str, Cats Grace ect..). You don't have to have those on for 24 hrs before you get the benefit. The reason it is different for Bonus spells is balance, Bonus spells are way more unbalancing then a few +'s here or there a person might get from a ability score.It is no different than you can have your Paladin take out and put on a Cloak of Charisma, use his Lay on Hands at the increased effect, then take it off and put it back in his backpack.</blockquote>
