LCD tv question

A few months ago, I bought a 32" Samsung LCD tv

About a month after I bought it, when i woult turn it on after it was off for at least a few hours, the screen would "flickkler" and it would go away after a couple of minutes or so. Anyone know if this is normal?

Not normal for any LCD I've ever seen. Sounds like the backlight is starting to flake out.
