Bounty Hunter Skeresh Sandrunner Race: Thrikreen Class: Sorcerer/Rogue Focus: Sorcerer spells are used for subterfuge and invisibility. Nothing higher than third level spells as Skeresh doesn't need anything stronger than that, he only needs to augment his existing skills. Rogue focuses on the hunt. Cosmopolitan feat in wilderness lore and taking the tracking feat would round him out well. Character Notes: Str 16, dX 16, Con 14, Int 14, Wis 14, CHA 16 Sorcerer level 4( Alternative class Psion- Metabolic since Thrikreens have some psionic potential. The thrikreen in the psionics web enhancement has the ability of chameleon and displacement. Using that as a template I'd increase the Psion level to be able to use those powers then add in the rogue levels) , the rest in rogue (not sure what level you were using). Skeresh's spells are all stealth and augmentations. He is fond of invisibility, see invisibility, blur, and jump. When he attacks he prefers to paralyze his victims through range weapons and poison. If he intends to fully kill them outright, he will use strength poison and use his jump ability <usually combined with jump spell> to pounce on the victim (+1 to attack for high ground). Skeresh is hunting for the Reader for quite some time. He has repeatedly killed the Reader but for some reason the ones he kills are always the false ones. Decoys used to sow unceertainty. Skeresh has kept his ear close to many underworld characters. In his last bounty, he brought down a a smuggler boss that spilled his guts in order for Skeresh to spare his life. Skeresh found that the information about the Assassin's competition to be highly informative as it would be the perfect place to ambush the Reader and blame it on some one else. Skeresh spared the life of the boss, but not without leaving him something to remember the thrikreen by. The boss was left handless and tongueless. Skeresh also applied a spell that he devised of his own insectoid mind. The spell acts like an arcane mark where the man is permanently marked with a symbol that all thrikreens will keep him in this condition, never healing him, never allowing anyone else to heal him. Skeresh then deposited the boss to the nearest Thrikreen hive, leaving instructions to feed him. Skeresh will let the boss go if the information he gave proves to be accurate and that the Reader will finally be in Skeresh's hands. edit: added character notes
