This is the latest iteration of my Greyhawk Creation Story. I wrote the original version prior to the publication of Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, but it was quite easy to incorporate the First World story into the next draft. When I named my version of the Elder Elemental Eye for my upcoming campaign, I incorporated them into this version. Note: I really dislike Monte Cook's linking of Tharizdun to The Elder Elemental Eye in Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, so I keep them separate in my Greyhawk. What does this have to do with my updating The Temple of Elemental Evil to 5e? Well it forms the basis of my interpretation of the Greyhawk gods and that is a section of the adventure I am going to have to update eventually. For my Wrath of the Elder Elemental Eye campaign that I am assembling, Ish'kairoth is the being who pushes the heroes (the PCs) out of their steady state world (which is our Earth in 2025) and on the road to adventure in the World of Greyhawk (inhabiting the bodies of adventures who died at the hands of the Temple). When I complete the Wrath of the Elder Elemental Eye one pager for my players I will post it here so you can see what I mean. My players may or may not learn about Ish'kairoth's origins depending on what they do during the campaign, but it gives a short, simple foundation to create anything else that deals with Faiths and Powers in my World of Greyhawk. We are the stories we tell ourselves and each other.

[HEADING=2]A Greyhawk Creation Story[/HEADING] Before the creation of the cosmos, there existed a cold, infinite darkness.
