Learning More Spells for Sorcerer

Second Most Angelic Devil Ever
Okay, I know that the answer is probably "No," but is there any way for sorcerers to know more spells?

Is there a feat similar to "Expanded Knowledge (psionics)"?

There's a Feat in Complete Arcane (3.5e) that lets you have an extra known spell. Also, in the APG there's an alternate favored class feature for humans (at least) that lets you pick up an extra known spell at each level.

The human option to trade your hp or skill point for a spell up to one level below what you can currently cast is amazing, especially at level 4+. Beyond that, it depends on if you can use 3E material, in which case there's a ton of options.

Sorcerers do get Use Magic Device as a class skill, though, so that can help.

Aha! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

Now, why didn't it show up when I searched d20pfsrd.com for "Expanded"? :hmm:

Now I am tempted to play a human. Where is this option mentioned? The Advanced Players Guide?

A note on the human favored class optional bonus

At levels 1-3, you can only gain a 0 level spell

This may be a good option for you, but as you get 9 0 level spells, 4 to start, 9 at level 10, I do not see a use in my characters for that bonus

Once you reach level 4, it becomes a better option as you have a max of 6 level 1 spells (2 to start, 5th at level 7, Bloodline at level 3) and the number of them decreases from there, to knowing 4 level 6th spells (3+ bloodline). You may want more as you get 6+bonus from Cha at level 4 of level 1 spells
