I slept on the living room floor, I had given my mom my bed, on a row of pillows, with my regular pillow under my head and huggin a feather pillow. When I woke up after only about two hours of sleep, my lungs felt like they were filled with baking soda and vinegar. I would take a deep breath in, let out a deep breath, and then it felt like my lungs were percolating (sp?). I was also coughing and spitting up frothy flem. I'm thinking I had an allergic reaction to the feather pillow (it was one some friend left at my old apt. once and I found it in the linen closet while packing). I felt like I wasn't getting enough oxygen. I didn't want to go waste time at the hospital and take time from packing, so I took a couple of Benadryl and napped for a few hours. When I got up, I was a little bit better, but it would get worse when I was moving around. My mom said it wasn't an asthma attack because my dad has asthma and that's not what happens to him. I tried to ask him what his asthma attacks are like, but he just said what I'd had wasn't one. My mom, dad, aunt, and uncle insist it was an anxiety attack, but I have never, ever, in 20 years, had an attack even close to something like that. Never shortness of breath, never felt like I was having a heart attack... the most physical symptoms I've had was being a bit shaky and twitchy with my hands, tense muscles, and crying. I am feeling better now, though I think I've got an ear infection, but I get those alot. It did take a couple of days till I felt back to normal, but the weird lung thing has gone. It was a very stressful weekend, with not a lot of sleep, cleaning, packing, arguing w/ my mom... all on top of what I've been going through, but I still think it was some sort of allergic reaction. Anybody know what this might have been? If it was an anxiety thing, I'm going to have to talk to my therapist next week about it, so I'd love some sort of clue.

Anyways, I'll keep you all up to date. I'm working on getting things together for moving while I'm here. My emotions come and go... I was feeling better, but now I'm feeling kinda bleh. Whatever the case, I'll just keep trying to get things done.

[QUOTE="AuroraGyps, post: 2106683, member: 1166"] Well, I'm still in Buffalo. It's kind of a long, stressful story and I'm not going to go into all the details right now, but the end of it is that on Monday, my mom went back home with out me. Sometime after Easter my mom and perhaps a relative or two will be coming up to get me... take two. :heh: One thing I will mention here, because I'm wondering if any one has any info, is something that happened to me Sunday morning.
