ENCYCLOPEDIA OF EVERYTHING: SAINTLY MAGIC ITEMS
Three very special items, all fit for use by devoted characters. The first and last one come from a certain famous saga with pretty warriors, one of which played a violin (would you believe that there were no magic violins in Pathfinder yet?!), while another one called to her a half-celestial unicorn with the sound of a bell. The remaining item is featured in an ancient sacred epic, known even today to a great many people… but also in a more recent book, as you will see below.
Bell of Returning Allies
Price 6,000 gp; Slot none; CL 11th; Weight ½ lb.; Aura strong conjuration
This tiny golden bell can be attuned to one willing outsider you know by name and can summon it to your side once per day for 1 minute. This can be any creature that you could select as a monster cohort. The attuned outsider’s name appears in embossed letters on the bell’s brim. Summoning the outsider requires speaking its name aloud and ringing the bell. Only an outsider whose alignment is within one step from yours can be attuned to the bell. Attuning the bell to another creature requires 24 hours of uninterrupted prayer.
