The One Hour Game
THIS is the thing that has me the most excited for 5e. Because it seems like they've really understood what I've been saying for 2-3 years.
It serves so many delightful purposes to have a potentially quick game, and to have a game designed around the adventure rather than the encounter. To have more "swing" in an encounter so that the PC's are quickly reduced to struggling, but then come back to win it, is a great feeling, especially when it doesn't take 15 minutes to get to each point.
I want to go to there.
