The weak rays of the dawning sun has yet to break up the mist of the cool morning air. Though the songbirds of the forest are waking from the night, this morning there will be no singing to praize the coming of day.
Not a wind is stirring when a single cherry blossom falls impossibly slowly down towards the embracing couple. As it lands in the limb open hand of the Lady another, then yet another blossom falls from the tree. More and more of the blossoms fall; a silent, delicately fragrant shower, covering the ground from the grisly traces of battle.
Everything is silent for a second.
A young girl sings softly, her voice is clean and light. The words are strange and new, but the melody is that of a lullaby, soothing and slow. Lamya has moved closer to Lady Tsin and Nicodemus and holding Cadwgawn's hand, they are kneeling next to the woman that was their only family.
Still singing, Lamya combs Tsin's black hair with her fingers as Cadwgawn takes out the white silk bandana that once was Ulf of Crow's. With great care, he wraps the cloth around Tsin's head. The embroidered, silvery white symbol of the spider covers her forehead where once the Gem of Heaven's Honor had it's place. There is no better substitute than a symbol most synonymous with honor in it's utmost distinction.
A single tear falls from his eyes as he ties the knot.
