Legion of Superheroes?

I am definatly getting too old for comics. All of these resets still make me go "Blah."

I'm also not found of the Authority, or Planetary. To me, having an "adult" comic doesn't mean super heroes murder their enemies, don't get killed themselves, have sex and swear. I love comics with an adult theme. Heck, Swamp Thing, in most of it's incarnations, has always had an over the top vibe to it. Hellraiser has had good and bad. Sandman good and bad. Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns... Good super hero comics. Ah well, the little kiddies must need something new I supose...

The problem with LoSH is that DC has tried waaay to hard to ground it on the 20th-21st century, which is constantly getting altered 'cause the stories are still being written. Legion takes place one THOUSAND years into the future. Leave the present alone and focus on the 31st century. There's more than enough going on there.

Exactly Right!

LSH didn't take off till it focused on the the 30th century and I can't help but notice that during it's long run, they never had a problem with a "large cast". The Great Darkness Saga literally had a cast of millions.

Sigh,...Legion of Superheros was the first and the last comic I ever purchased. Everytime I think I'll get back into comics, I read something like this or Wonder Girl's death or Collussus's Return and I think "Why Bother".

Actually yes, back in the Legionnaires days, trying to emulate Chris Sprouse's style. I even had a similar group in my own "comicsverse", Teen Power (okay, that sounded pretty lame).

Great Darkness Saga was the ultimate LoSH adventure! Baby Orion! Darkseid controlling a world of Supermen (Daxam)!

You can't go wrong with a team that has Bouncing Boy and Matter-Eater Lad!
