SUNRISE DISTRICT 19. Shrine of Heironeous This shrine is little more than a white marble dias raised only two feet over the ground. A small "moat" surrounds the shrine, although it is filled with only a few small puddles of water and dead leaves. The shrine itself is covered with shields from warriors all over. In fact, it is said that if you leave your shield here for a month, than Heironeous blesses it to protect you for as long as you live a just life. The Shrine is maintained by Hiram Maltheous (LG Human Paladin 1), who lives nearby. Hiram spends much of his time assisting the Cudgel watch; he maintains the shrine before retiring to bed each night. SUNRISE 7. The Hunter's Trap: A relatively small building, "The Trap" is a place where lower-class workers spend a few coppers and gamble. It is a very smoky establishment that is served by several comely men and women. Unlike other gaming houses in Sasserine, The Trap is based entirely around dice games - dice tables are run by house referrees, who take a small cut off each bet. The Trap makes most of it's income through the sale of watered-down ale and mead, as well as decent meals. The Trap is run by Kellia of Cauldron (CG Half-Elf Rogue 2), a young half-elven woman who keeps her ears open for the latest rumours and gossip in Sunrise district, her adopted home.
