[QUOTE="(un)reason, post: 9788581, member: 27780"] Everyone was present. This was a non-stop action scene, although the perspectives weren't split as I feared, because Zerr decided that as much as the player might want to be involved in the action downstairs, that would require going through a lot of slaadi, he's not a primary fighter and it would make more sense IC for him to concentrate on getting the squishier followers out the window safely and fading away into the crowd. Fortunately, his stealth skills continue to be as effective as ever and the direction he picked to retreat was not the one the shadowdancers took, so he managed to get away and is out of the story for the moment. Back down in the tunnel just above the main vault, the sniper frantically gesticulated to the others to communicate that there was an anti-magic cone trained at the opening, ready to blink off so both beholders could blast away with all their other rays at a moment's notice. To get around that, the githyanki summoned a trio of hill giants and had them leap into the field of view of the eye, knowing that they'd wink out, but as soon as the anti-magic ended, they would reappear and all fall on the beholder, putting it in a no-win dilemma. This was immediately followed by the binder & priestess, who of course did not vanish, but fell past them and attacked, the binder using her wings (which thankfully are not dependent on magic) and the priestess using her whip to grapple one of the beholders castlevania style to slow her fall. The githyanki soon followed with another group of amnizu and the sniper blinked into one of the alcoves surrounding the main vault to unleash some wings of flurry. Vlindarian failed his save and was stunned, the other beholder succeeded and managed to get of one round's worth of eye rays, which disintegrated one amnizu, slowed a second and charmed a third, but the PC's made all their saves and managed to kill them on the second round before it reached their turn again. The giants summoned previously reappeared and fell towards the creatures on the base of the vault: a third beholder, the still half-dead cornugon from earlier and some kobold skeleton minions, but only the kobolds got squashed. The drow summoned a bunch of air elementals and the majority of them headed downwards to fight the remaining two visible enemies. This took a couple more rounds, then they used the decanter of endless water they picked up to create a puddle to drown the cornugon with (no more attempts at mercy here, and suffocation is noted as one of the few damage sources that bypasses regeneration), which took another four. It seemed like they'd hit a brief lull, during which time the air elementals were set to grabbing as much gold as they could. However, while this went on, there were enemies advancing from multiple directions, the other cornugon & four slaadi from behind them and more beholders from the vertical tunnels leading off from the vault.
