Level Diffs in Comp. Adv. and other Sources

I recently picked up Complete Adventurer and noticed that some of the spells within do not jive with the levels given in other sources. The spells that leaped out at me (and there may be more) are:

Cacophonic Shield
Easy Climb
Easy Trail
Embrace the Wild
Forestfold

In Complete Divine and Magic of Faerun (where these show up - I think) the levels were a bit higher. Does anyone know if this is a typo? Or after further review have the powers that be at WotC decided these spells needed to be dropped a level?

First off: Embrace the Wild isn't in Complete Divine. That's covered in errata. Kind of annoyed me.

Anyway, I'd use the more recent book (Complete Adventurer in this case) unless errata comes out. Probably another example of bad editing on someone's part, though.
