Message: <blockquote data-quote="wildstarsreach" data-source="post: 3419093" data-attributes="member: 43141">I ran into this with my psiforged.  Other players were unwilling to spend their spells helping heal my character.  We had a party cache of healing potions and there was a disagreement about my character using them.  I finally pointed out that a portion of those potions was my characters and that their position was wrong.  They relented.  I did take repair damage at 3rd level so that I could self heal.  At 6th level I took leadership for a cohort, a psionic artificer.  This removed my need to have the party heal my character.  Take Duskblade, it is unfair for the party to expect you to take a penalty and not be willing to sacrifice some themselves.  If they weren't willing to say that you couldn't play the character before play, then they should not be able to penalize you.  They should make compromise as you are a team.  In fact the campaign before the one with my psiforged, we had a warforged fighter cleric and I made some sacrifice of taking repair lt damage to help him until he took leadership and got a standard Artificer cohort.  The other wizard did as well.</blockquote>
