As the Orc leaves, the Argonian grabs Khala by the wrist after sheething his dagger. He leads you down into a small shanty near the water-bed of the nearby pond. There's a small fire outside, some whater barely steaming just above. The Argonian gently opens the cloth into the shanty. You find that the large Khajitte is holding what appears to be a small hairy human baby. He holds it gently, smirking gayly and rubbing his nose across the babies shrunken face. It's hard to say, but the baby appears to be a girl, possibly, and is addorned by a copper tiara-like object around her forehead. The woman, haggered, brutally tired, and having only recently given birth (maybe a week), seems utterly sick. Her skin is pale, her sweat is cold and makes her chest, arms, shoulders, and face glimmer a bit. The argonian rests the back of his paw across the woman's forehead, he states, "I'm not one to judge when a warm-blood is hot-skinned, but I believe that Chalis is suffering from a fever." The smile on the face of the Khajitte turns to a frown, but he continues to stare into his daughter's eyes. He snuggles up with the baby, and mutters something containing the discernable word, "shameness..." The Argonian turns to his Khajitte friend and explains that you have offered to pay off the woman's worth. His reaction is to be somewhat stagnant, but still very happy. The Khajitte continues to stare into his daughter's eyes. The argonian comes up to you, "I wouldn't ever beg, I'm not a begger, I earned my freedom, but... I'm not the one with a baby in my arms. I must ask, for her sake, could you help with dinner? The Oddishes are few these days, and it is hard to scrap together anything to eat out here." The argonian proceeds to explain that the child is a half-khajitte (extremely rare, often miscarriaged), born of this Breton woman and this Khajitte. "As a girl, she has the potential to be a shaman, and if she is lucky enough to enherit her mothers charisma, she would be a very good one..."
