Look at the hands of the lich guy, they look a lot clearer. </p><p></p><p>I have noticed this effect on magic cards whose art was blown up poster size. When it was on a card it looked great, however poster sized it looked really bad. </p><p></p><p>Perhaps we are dealing with art intended for a magic card, which I know is not that big and designed for low resolution.
