Well if you do then it's the same thing. You are playing in their imagination. Campaign settings such as Forgotten Realms and Eberron give people a place to visit, it's a conglomeration of other people's imaginations that you can go and play in and at the same time, add your own bits to it. I wouldn't pay D&D a cent for just rules.</blockquote>
