I just wanted to start off by thanking everyone who shared their experience and gave advice. By reading your comments I was able to revamp how I play Rock Rackus and he was much more well received. I started off by playing him more the self-centered narcissist and toned him down to more of a fool with too much power (Kanye West style). Just having the idea of Kanye in the back of my mind really helped. I personally love every character within Zeitgeist so I was a little worried when one wasn't received as I expected. If you are curious about what my party decided to do with Rock Rackus, my party decided to take him under their wing to "re-educate him." The two party members associated with the Vekeshi Mystics received their letters to assassinate Rock Rackus. However, after deducing the signature of the Old Stag was forged, they decided to sneak Rock Rackus out of the city instead. They "killed" Rock Rackus through a potion of catatonia and snuck him out (Rock Rackus loved the idea of him becoming a "Jesus figure"). After sneaking Rock Rackus out, the party wanted to humble him using their Fey connections. Unfortunately, no Fey creature wanted to mess with him due to Rock Rackus' encounter with the Unseen Court. So instead, the party decided to take Rock Rackus with him to the Ziggurat, promising him a split of the treasure. This lead to many fun uses of Rock Rackus including: -"You gotta put a rock in that trap. A YUUUGE rock. And I know my rocks or my name isn't Rock Rackus" (in regard to the Crushing Force Trap -"You gotta dream big!" (in regards to the "Hallucinatory Floor Room") Followed by "You didn't dream big enough!" when the trap triggered Overall the party is split. Half are like RangerWickett's group with "this guy gets us." The other half rolls their eyes whenever he does something. But at the end of the day, my group is having a lot of fun and thats what counts. Thanks again!
