Limper's Dire Phrase
Transmutation [Sonic/Language Dependent]
Level: Sor/Wiz 7
Components: V
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Short 25 feet + 5 feet per 2 levels
Target:1 Creature (LoS)
Duration: Permanent
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
By speaking the Dire Phrase the character places a
curse on the creature targeted. The character chooses
one of the three following effects:
1) -6 effective decrease to an ability score (minimum1).
2) -4 enhancement penalty on attack rolls, saving
throws, ability checks, and skill checks.
3) Each turn, the target has a 50% chance to act
normally; otherwise, the target takes no action.
The character may also invent a new Dire Phrase, but
it should be no more powerful than those listed above,
and the DM has final say on the Phrases's effect.
The Phrase cannot be dispelled, but it can be removed
with a break enchantment, limited wish, miracle,
remove curse, or wish spell.
Remove curse counters Dire Phrase.
How does this look to you... concidering the competition it looks pretty darn good (balanced that is) to me.
