I hope that this ranks up there with Freeport and Bluffside because the Scarred Lands is in dire need of some more detailed cities and if it's all purpose enough, it's going right in there!

Hehe. I'm really hopeful about this product....a 300+ page city sourcebook? *yum*

A brief story -

Many of you know, SoS was originally due out in the Summer. At the '02 GAMA Trade Show, I got my first look at Bluffside, and immediately met with the project leader of SoS.

We compared our current outline with Bluffside, and decided that we would have to use that book as a standard to set our work by. The book is now more than double the original size, as we strove to give a nearly door-to-door description of the city of Parma. Our plotlines became more in-depth, many of our NPC's were given full stat blocks, and we added many new rules (prestige classes, rituals, magic items).

We are very proud of our efforts, and despite the huge delays, we feel they were necessary to bring you all a product on the level with the previously released citiy supplements. Our hats are off to THG/MEG and Green Ronin, and hope you all put Parma on the same level with Bluffside and Freeport.

Not that I know how long it takes but what day did you ship the boooks out to those who preordered it? I'm still waiting and if it was done from the printers on Feb 3rd and you shipped it out soon after that, I should have gotten it by now.
