If they were in your campaign then fine, but it was shown on these boards even in many different ways that they were ok. The inability to gain extra spell slots was definately hindersome, much better to get the item. Someone may cast dispel magic at some point (a very common tactic), good thing I had this item instead. Oh no I rolled low today, too bad I didnt have that item....---Somewhat back on topic though, do you consider polymorph a problem?
