Hey folks! We just went live with our Kickstarter for Surviving Strangehollow, a D&D supplement that features work from Dan Dillon, Ed Greenwood, Shawn Merwin, James Haeck, Elisa Teague, and many more well-known writers and designers!
It's designed for 5E, and it will also incorporate the updates in the forthcoming edition of D&D.
The project is an "art-first" approach to game design. It has nearly 100 hand-painted creatures and environments, all lovingly crafted over the past 8 years by Emily Hare, a UK-based watercolorist. Emily is the original creator of the land of Strangeholllow.
The design/writing team is putting together amazing new fiction based on the art. This fiction will create unique flavors for the DM and player content, including 70+ creatures, 10+ subclasses, numerous feats and backgrounds, and some great new spells, items, one new class, one new race, and other do-dads! For DMs, there are also some great new systems being developed to challenge parties in ways other than reducing hitpoints and managing the rest and action economies.
