Totally the same. </p><p></p><p>By your logic, a cleric and a wizard occupy the same design space; they use their spells primarily inside and outside of combat. They are just remixed differently. </p><p></p><p>But go ahead and believe they're the same. I'm just glad the D&D Next designers don't share your "vision."</p></blockquote><p></p>
