(Raised INT, no new lang.)EQUIPMENT: Belt Pouch: 7 Crowns (Pouch is kept hanging on inside of pantsleg)Backpack Items:1)2 Meals2)2 Meals3)Waterskin4)Flint & steel5)Healer's Kit6)2 Larnuma Fruit Meals (Heals 1D4 per meal)7)8)Special Items:1)Padded Armor (+1 AC)2)Kai Cloak~+1 to fortitude saves vs. hot or cold weather3)Quiver w/ 20 arrows4)Weapons:1)Mastercraft Bow (+1 CS, +1 Dmg.)2)Sword (+1 CS for Weaponskill)3)Dagger, right thigh4)Dagger, left boot5)Dagger, behind backEncumberance: Light- 32 pounds.Background: Moon's Brand was destined to be a Kai Lord before she was born.  Named Shiasta at birth, her parents rejoiced at the crescent-moon shaped birthmark on her neck, which they deemed a sure sign that her life would be touched by Ishir.  Both being Kai Lords, her mother Coiled Serpent and her father Deer Stalker took turns with raising her for the first six years of her life in a cottage not far from the Monastery.  She learned much, and began to display the sense of precognition that the Kai are known for at an early age.  Her parents were very excited by this, and planned on presenting her to the Order for apprenticeship the following Fehmarn so that they both could return to their full-time duties at the Monastery and for the good of the land.  Unfortunately, during the winter while she was being cared for by her father, Coiled Serpent disappeared during a mission to Kadan, the capital of Cloeasia, while searching for a dangerous Sommlending criminal.  This criminal was an ex-knight of Sommerlund, and had slain the guards who had been transporting him from Holmgard to Toran for exile to the Daziarn.  Tharron the Jugular he was known as, because after being removed from his knightly duties for repeated offenses of leaving his post, he went on a jugular vein-slitting killing spree, murdering several of his former superiors until he was caught.  Because the death-list they discovered on him included the King himself, he was given this most severe sentence.  Coiled Serpent is presumed to have been another of his victims.  Without a second parent to share in the raising of Shiasta, Deer Stalker presented her to the Order early, and in light of her situation and latent abilities that were already beginning to develop, she was accepted and later renamed Moon's Brand due to her unique birthmark.For eight years, she has continued to aspire to the best of her abilities.  Always wanting to make her father proud, who she has limited contact with due to the structure of the Order, as well as to impress her instructors, she constantly tries to do better than all of her peers.  She is perceived by most as a perfectionist and fierce competitor, which she would certainly admit to, but enjoys competing for the sake of honing her skills against others and does not hold grudges, respecting those who challenge and even best her.  Her tendency towards perfectionism tends to make her quite hard on herself when she doesn't succeed at things, and will sometimes cause her to blame herself for things that are outside of her locus of control.  She hopes to someday be sent to Kadan so she can try to solve her mother's disappearance, unlike several others who were sent and discovered nothing, although two more vanished as well.  She is very friendly with those who get to know her, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and skills through teaching others as much as she enjoys competing against them.  She eagerly awaits the day she is sent on her first mission. . .</blockquote>
