Hello, I'm here to post about a project that's going to be on Kickstarter in November. I know this forum has a section for "Boardgames, Card Games, Wargames and Miniatures," and ours definitely fits: we're coming from a classic "solo roleplaying" experience and releasing a new board game. My name is Richard S. Hetley, and I've posted here a couple times when I and my friends launched gamebook projects on Kickstarter (link and link). Today we're trying to spread word about our upcoming project, Lone Wolf - The Board Game, a tabletop game based on the classic gamebook series from the 80's. It is one of the most artistic projects you're likely to see, designed wholly by Gary Chalk, illustrator of Redwall, HeroQuest, and many other beloved worlds. Preview the project page here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1615043334/1062942324?token=4dbe0a52 This isn't live on Kickstarter just yet: this is a "soft launch" to get feedback from tabletop fans and anyone else who loves fantasy gaming. Lone Wolf is the story of the last of the Kai Lords, warrior monks who defend the land of Sommerlund against the Darklords and their minions. It was written by Joe Dever and originally illustrated by Gary Chalk, and those illustrations helped define the experience for countless fans. But what even the most diehard fan didn't know was that Gary designed a board game version 30 years ago, and in November we will ask your help in bringing it to life.
