Message: <blockquote data-quote="jollyninja" data-source="post: 168068" data-attributes="member: 3208">hope you get to see this at some point, i have had to deal with the same type of situation a couple of times and have found that the following works quite well. if he does something that bothers you, take it out on his character. your character has enough in game reasons to really dislike his character. you have stated that his character is equally pompus of an ass as he is, have your character get irritated with him and if nessisary scream at him next time the jerk's character is rude to yours. say everything you want to say but do it in character, he wants RP? give it to him. it's much easyer to say things in this manner without everyone taking it personally, also it relieves stress quite well. sometimes it escalates to violence but as long as all you do is roll dice, that's fine. if what you say is entirely acurate, he/his character are not exactly premoting party togetherness and he deserves whatever he gets.</blockquote>
