Looking for a minature - A mounted halfling!

Clumsy Bob

First Post
Sadly my current PC bought the dust tonight :( however that opens me up to use my next character idea, a mounted halfling warrior!
Picture a heroic 3ft tall warrior riding into battle atop a.... er dog, or something.
Getting back to the point, are there any minatures that anyone knows of that has a mounted halfling (and preferably on foot).

Cheers

This has got to be the wrong forum for this. Nonetheless:

I play in only one game, and I play a halfling paladin mounted on a war dog.

I had to make my own. I started with some sort of goblin intended to be mounted, cut off the upper half of the goblin and added the upper body of the halfling. I then got a dog figure and mounted him. A little cardboard, crazy glue and brown paint later and I had a saddle. For good measure, I added armor to the dog (nylon with a cool-looking pattern on it) and a lance (toothpick wih paper banner soaked in super glue for strength).

The result (the camera was very poor quality, but I think you get the idea):

There were many hobbits/halfling in the old Mithril Middle Earth line.

If you're more comfortable with the D&D halfling look, why not try smaller size minis (15 to 20 mm).

A friend of mine filed the spikes and skulls off of a Mordheim Wardog, put some felt on its back for a saddle and seated a Brettonian Squire on its back. It looks suprisingly good as a mounted halfling. (Reaper's Dingo Applebarrel mini would probably work even better). Placed next to the larger Citadel and/or Reaper minis it even looks sort-of in scale. (The relative size of the wardog to a normal mount is probably what creates this illusion).

I had to make my own too. But instead of using an actual metal miniature, I created my own with Shrinky Dinks and then glued them to a Games Workshop base. It's not too hard, and fairly easy if you can draw.
I even made a mini for an "un-mounted" dog.

I usually don't share my pictures of Lidda and I "togather", but if you really need it I'll send one of them to you(for a small fee of course).

There's not really enought to a halfling to make a good trophy. I think it would be a waste to have one mounted. Skinned or stuffed maybe, but mounting would be a bit much. :)

Actually, Mighty Halfling, those figure stands are pretty cool. Where do you get the material they're drawn on?
