Looking for a strong 3.5 group to join.

I have been playing RPG's for 16 years. I have been asked to run a lot and would really like to recharge my brain by playing for a change. I play a character well. He builds up his own story and I am just the one telling it.

Do to a robbery I have lost all my books and most my preexisting characters. I have not played since that happened. I would really like to get back into a game and start exercising my brain again. I have most books on PDF and am very familiar with most VOIP programs. I have not actually played a game Online yet however.

If you are looking for an interested player for a serious and long campaign who is good with language and has lots of world knowledge to add as well as the ability to sink into a character well, I may not be who you are looking for but, I am trying to be. Cuz thats just what I want to do.

I have an opening in my Heirs of Turucambi chat-based game. Set beneath the surface of the sea, the campaign is set in the Solnor Ocean of Oerth, the World of Greyhawk. PCs must have a natural swim speed and the ability to breathe underwater without the use of magic. The current level of play is around 7.

The only glitch is that the game is run from 9pm-midnight Eastern... 9am-noon your time?

That is acyually not a problem on week days. I work at 3:30 pm and get off by 6:30 pm 3 days a week and 1 pm ro 4 pm on Sat. Saturday and Sunday I have classes I take in the morning. Monday to Friday are free.

Chat based? Is this a lot of typing and no talking? I type slow... I also read a little slow. RPG's are my way of getting over a very sevier dyslexia. This will come appearent in my spelling. Normally I use a combo of Chat and VOIP for things I do online. I have access to a good Ventrillo server if you would like to add voice to your games (assuming it is not there now).

I would love to try it out. Please have a little patiants with my reading and typing. When (what days) is the game? And what chat program?

We meet Sunday nights from 9pm-Midnight, Eastern (12 hours behind you). So, as I type this, the game is in 3 hours.

That is Monday 9am to noon my time. OK. I missed the game because I was sleeping and didn't know when until Tuesday. I will try to make the next one. Never used IRC much and have had issues with it sometimes. (No doubt the issues are user based...) Hope to see you Monday.

For the rest of you who find this... 3 hours a week will not fill me up. GIVE ME MORE!
